I've got a few of these newer magnetic phone mounts with the twist dial that creates a vacuum and secures the suction cup to the mounting surface. I like this one the best. Some other similar phone holders will only stick on glass, or they require you to glue a provided plastic disc to surfaces that are not glass or ceramic. And then the disc is stuck in that location and can't be moved anywhere else. This one has a silicone/tpu suction cup that sticks on a wide variety of surfaces extremly well. Its removable so you can move it to other locations if you change your mind or change vehicles, etc. You just need to clean the suction cup, and you're all set to relocate it.

Overrall the Jononser feels like a sturdy quality unit. It has a rotating arm and a rotating round magnet, making it extremely versatile regarding positioning. The metal arm is strong and stays in place even with larger phones like my s24 ultra.

The magnetic ring is very effective! I tested it today in a commercial truck with a very bad suspension. The very sticky suction cup was put on the dashboard. I was on back country dirt roads all day with lots of bumps and potholes. The whole truck bounced up and down regularly. The Jononser magnetic phone holder did not disappoint. It maintained an iron grip the whole time.

If you don't have a magnetic case, dont worry. It comes with two metal rings to place between your existing case and your phone.

Overall, the Jononser magnetic phone holder worked as advertised and held my phone securely. I honestly can't think of any way to improve it.

I initially tried to use a vent-clip style mount, and I found a really good one, but the issue is with my vehicle's vents. They were problematic and the mount would too easily sway left and right and need re-adjustment. My vehicle does have a large screen in the center which is perfect for this mount. I attached it and it's solid as a rock! The arm articulates and can angle the phone exactly how I want, bringing the screen much closer to me than my vent-clip based mount. I also tried sticking this to the inside of the windshield and the bond was extremely strong, even without tightening it down.

I give this a 4/5 for now, while I assess to make sure it does not pop up in the next week. So far this mount is looking to to be a great option for those with smooth surfaces such as screens or glass.

This phone mount is very well made. It has a swivel arm that allows for perfect positioning of the phone on many flat and smooth surface. Since the suction cup is made of a sticky material around the actual cup, it will stick to virtually any surface that's not too rugged. The sticky material will leave a mark on the surface it was on upon removal, although it's easily cleanable with alcohol. If the sticky portion of the cup gets dirty, the clean it under running water from the faucet and let it air dry. It will become super sticky again. The rotating, ratcheting ring around the base will create the suction inside the cup and will lock in in place with a clockwise twist. To remove the mount, just turn it counterclockwise and pull on the base to free it. A superb product in my opinion.

✅Vacuum grip = gorilla glue. One twist to “lock” the cup and it clung to my textured dash like a barnacle—never budged over railway crossings or hard braking.
✅MagSafe magnet with muscle. Snaps my iPhone 15 on with a satisfying thunk; even upside-down it wouldn’t shake loose. (Included ring worked just as well on my partner’s Pixel 9.)
✅Micro-but mighty. Folds to the size of a chunky Oreo (2.5″ × 2.5″ × 1.5″, 0.2 lb) and lives in my jacket pocket when I swap cars or hit the gym.
✅Infinite angles. Dual-axis arm gives 210 ° tilt + 360 ° rotation—perfect for vertical nav, quick horizontal selfie, then propping it on the café table as a mini stand.

I really wanted to give this 5 stars but...

In my search of finding the perfect phone mount specifically for my vehicle there are a lot of things to consider. There may not be a one mount fits all so you have to know a few things. Before getting this phone mount you have to think WHERE you want to mount it. Do you want it on your windshield? dashboard? screen? somewhere else? If you get this and don't have an idea I would first examine where you could possibly put it. YOU WOULD NEED A SOMEWHAT FLAT SURFACE! I have an older Toyota Sienna and initially mounted the sticky disc base right above the monitor. It was not the most flat area so I had to change the position to the right side of the screen. It was a little more stable but again you would need about a 3-4 inch diameter flat surface area.

The box included the following:
• Phone holder
• 1 self adhesive metal ring
• 1 adhesive circular base

The thing I loved most is the versatility of the mount. The magnet was very strong and secure. I have not tested to see if the suction can just be placed on a monitor but wouldn't see how that wouldn't be an issue but I wouldn't imagine that being the most ideal place to mount since you need to see the screen for backing up, displaying directions/other functions. I believe I've seen some examples of mounting behind the screen but if it isn't flat then it may have issues being truly secure.
