This shoe polish can be used to refinish top grain leather couches! I have a very dark brown couch that is 13 years old that had faded over the years and is a favourite spot for two big dogs (malamute and german shepherd) to sleep. I fixed a hole that they made in the couch but the faded areas were an eye sore. I ordered both the dark brown and black polish to refinish the leather that had faded. They blended very well and no colour came off on clothing. Overall I am so pleased with the result and was able to save my couch for a bit longer.

I have a pair of boots that I love but they have recently faded and lost their colour in one section. I wanted to "repaint" them but was not sure how well it would work. I decided to give this polish a go and was pretty pleased with the results. The shoes appear rejuvenated (although there is still some minor scuffing/fading where the polish didn't entirely cover the lost colour).

Method: I used a small soft cloth and applied the polish liberally, spreading it evenly and working it into the leather.

Outcome: Shoes appear rejuvenated; however, the polish did not entirely cover the faded patch I was hoping to get rid of (see photo). Regardless, the shoes look better than they did before.

Additionally, the brown I chose does not match that which I was polishing -- it's more of a chocolate brown, whereas the brown I was colouring had a green/grey tint. However, that is no issue to me, as the boots look rejuvenated and shiny -- almost like new, which is great, seeing as I bought them four years ago and wear them religiously in the fall and spring months.
