Tested plenty of gold with it and it has never deceived me. The stones could be a bit more abrasive as they are very smooth and sometimes with 10k it takes substantial force to get good marks but other than that this is good stuff.

If you have never bought one of these before and you sell sterling silver jewelry gold jewelry and even costume jewelry this is a must!
