    I can't say enough about these jar openers! I even sent some to a friend of mine in Virginia! Aside from being a senior citizen, I also have some health issues that make opening bottles and jars virtually impossible! And you don't have to be a senior citizen to use these! But these work for every bottle and jar I have tried it on! From little tiny essential oil bottles to large salsa jars, it hasn't failed me yet! And they aren't horribly expensive either!     These are effective, easy to use, give good mechanical advantage. They come in a set of three sizes. Unlike larger mechanical devices, these are very easily stored and more handy. Their rubber grip grabs on, making a turning motion easy. The mechanical advantage seems to come from not having to squeeze hard to maintain contact and traction such that the wrist and arm have a better mechanical advantage. The basic limitation is the size. Though, size wise, they can handle 90% of the bottles and jars I've had to open, it would be nice if they had once size larger.
