    It’s not centered and angled in a way that I can’t quite understand. When I hit the soil it wants to twist in my hand and I have to make a serious effort to prevent it which is very strenuous. This doesn’t happen to my hula hoe or any weeder I have used. Weeding should be effortless. Maybe I just haven’t figured out yet how to use it correctly? This is my first impression review. If I spend some time using it and figure out that I’m doing it wrong or simply get used to it and change my opinion, I’ll be sure to update my review. On the positive side, it seems to be well made and the steel seems to be of good quality. I also like the pointed end. I can get the weeds in the most difficult spots which would be inaccessible with any other tool.

    I have been hand weeding my garden for few years and it’s a summer long job from May to September. I have never seen a tool like this so I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered it. Boy, am I happy to have it now. It is not big nor wide, you have to go down on your knee while using it, but it is light weight and it works like a charm! You hold the handle, stretches out your arm and pulls it back toward yourself on the soil basically brushing the weeds with every stroke (together with quite a bit of soil as well so I grab the weeds and kinda shake off the soil), and those little shallow roots come out exactly the way you want. It takes half the time to work the weed now compared to the way I used to do, and way better result! Because I am using it to brush out the weeds instead of wacking or digging, the not so sharp blade does not bother me. But if you plan on using it as a heavy duty all purpose weed removal tool, it might not be the best choice. I have a basket full of garden tools and this is my new best friend. finally feel like a winner at the “weed war”! I just hope this tool will last because it’s not cheap at almost $40 including tax.

    This is probably the best garden tool I've ever purchased. It is lightweight and sharp. Perfect for weeding beds and clearing beds of vegetation.

    The tip is good for digging roots out and the side edge will cut small weeds with a quick stroke.

    I've also used it to dig a small hole to insert bedding plants when my hand shovel wasn't handy.
