- Reviewed in Canada on December 22, 2024Verified PurchaseThe clicker works as described, I tried it on PowerPoint presentations and Canva, and both worked perfectly. I was worried since there is no notification once the USB was inserted of being recognized on the PC, but still worked all fine. It comes with a pouch, and instructions and needs a AAA battery.

- Reviewed in Canada on December 27, 2024Verified PurchaseI use this in my classroom daily for lessons on the white board. Easy to use and connect. Has a pretty good battery life. Love the laser pointer. Allows me to move around and talk rather than be stuck at my laptop. Definitely worth the money!
- Reviewed in Canada on February 15, 2024Verified PurchaseWe purchased that clicker remote in order to give Powerpoint presentation control to professors recording e-learning videos with live video assets, so that they can decide when to change slides/animations.
Works very well, the dongle was plugged into a laptop, the prof had the remote in his hands and everything went as expected (buttons do what they are expected to do). Laser works but we do not need it.
Definitely recommended if you need a no-nonsense Powerpoint remote clicker.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 20, 2024Verified PurchaseI like the size of the usb dongle, it’s super small so there isn’t a need to unplug it, even when traveling with the laptop. Advances slides as I need and the laser pointer is an added bonus. I’ve been using it for a few months now and have had no issues.
- Reviewed in Canada on January 24, 2024Verified PurchaseI would have given this presenter a higher rating, but the dongle is super cheaply made and almost falling apart.
- Reviewed in Canada on October 10, 2023This product, as advertised, does what it's supposed to do. It's a simple product that works without much effort, and controls for the most part are intuitive.
Here are some points on what I liked, and what I disliked about it:
==[PROS]==
↪ The product is made fairly well. While the housing is made from plastic, it feels like it could withstand some abuse before failing.
↪ The design is sleek, and with the hidden USB compartment (pictured), you won't have to worry about carrying a separate USB dongle. It's held in the housing magnetically.
↪ The buttons are soft-touch rubber, and are satisfying to click on.
↪ The USB dongle/receiver is straight plug-and-play. There is absolutely no hassle, no issues, and no waiting for any background software to install.
↪ The integrated Class 3R laser is bright and will sufficiently reach from any distance that the remote can. Please be careful where you point it, however.
↪ The product is overall, fairly lightweight even with a AAA battery in it, so your hands/arms won't get tired quickly trying to point lasers.
==[CONS]==
↪ Sometimes, if you're trying to click a button without looking at the remote itself (e.g. reading your presentation, looking at your audience while speaking), then there are not enough tactile difference to know whether your finger is over the "previous" or "next" slide button. It will take time to get used to it without looking.
↪ The dedicated "Select Hyperlink" button is awful. Yes, it will "select" the text box or surrounding video with a hyperlink, but after that, when you double-click to 'open' the hyperlink, it will not do it. If you have an embedded YouTube video in the presentation, it will not play it whatsoever. It's absolutely useless in my opinion. When not in presentation mode, holding the button will bring up the window switcher (same as Alt + Tab).
↪ There is no dedicated "Black Screen" or "Start Presentation" buttons on this like there is on other clickers. Those are far-more used buttons rather than "Select Hyperlink" and while it's still possible, having to long-press every time to get those functions going is rather annoying.
↪ When you use your mouse to play an embedded video in your presentation (e.g. YouTube), if you want to move on to your next slide, none of the clicker buttons will work. You have to progress once more with a mouse click, THEN you are able to continue with the clicker/remote.
↪ The magnet that holds the USB dongle in the housing is stronger when the 'face' of the USB is facing down (for some reason??). I found this out because the USB fell out after not inserting it all the way.
↪ The USB dongle is USB-A only, and does not have a built-in double-sided USB-C dongle like some of the other cheap clickers/remote do.
↪ There is no included AAA battery! It's stated within the item description, but c'mon.
Overall, I think the product good, and at a relatively low price, you can't go wrong with it. It will serve you well, and depending on how you get used to the product, you will have minor-to-no issues with this. Yes, there are some quirks and functionality downfalls with this, but those are just from my experiences, and are purely personal gripes. I would recommend you try it out for yourself to see how you feel about it. Hope this helps.
