I have recently gotten back into film photography and wanted to be able to develop either at home or elsewhere entirely autonomous of the in-store processing, which are few and far between now anyways, and so it is just more cost-effective to do my own developing if I want to continue to nurture my craft.
I ordered this large format film developing bag from brand JJC not only because I already trust the brand for several other photography products, but it just seemed like the right size and fit for my needs, offering hands-on development for 4z5 or 5x6 easy, and with a little care, some slightly larger or thinner sizes also.
It is made of a durable material that is completely opaque and light cannot get through it. It is also chemical stain resistant and just does the job I need it to. Overall, I certainly wish it were maybe even a size larger, but its great for travel and impressing clients with developed film shortly after a photoshoot. 5 stars.
