I've recently set up this irrigation system through my raised strawberry planters. I've used a few different irrigation systems in different gardens over the last couple of years and have grown to love their ease of daily use after initial install.
If you aren't familiar with these systems, you get the main waterline, irrigation tubing, drippers, etc. sent and you need to cut and connect the drippers/tees as needed for your personal garden needs. This allows ultimate flexibility for the many different garden layouts.
This is an excellent, simple to install system that has everything needed to get started. I particularly love that you can control how rapid the flow is at each individual dripper/mister. I have not had any issues with leaking (used the plumbers tape at the hose connection ) and it hooked up just fine to my automatic water timer.
The pieces are plastic, but don't feel super cheap. If this was a more expensive unit i'd hope for swivel brass fittings at the hose connection, but I cannot complain for the list price of this. I've only just installed this, so I don't know about long term durability and expect that even if you blew the lines you'd probably want to remove the system over the winter season. If I experience long term issues I will certainly update, but at the moment I am pleased and my young strawberries are loving their early morning drink while I sleep.
