Great consistent grind along

- Reviewed in Canada on July 10, 2025Verified PurchaseSo far so good. It is a little slow compared to a bladed grinder, but you press the button and walk away, get something else done.
It's quiet, compact, solid, and inexpensive.
It grinds VERY fine if you like, and it doesn't have the static issue some of the others do.
I use it to re-grind coarse coffee for my espresso machine, works perfectly (may need to give it a little shake from time to time to get the grounds into the burrs).

It is rechargeable using a USB-C cable, and you have indication in 25% increments on the top of the unit, to tell you how much charge is left. The gearing is relatively low, which explains the slow speed, but that is probably done on purpose to be able to get the power it needs to grind the beans, and without any hesitation on a relatively small battery. I was afraid it would choke due to lack of power, but they did their homework, and scaled the gearing to get the power they need from this small motor (at the compromise of speed), but with no signs of hesitation.
The ceramic conical burr grinder does an amazing job at grinding the beans, and most importantly, with consistency. No powdered residue coffee amongst your grind no matter what grind setting you have it on (and you have a slew of settings). I was also surprised that I got no static with grinds sticking to the inside of the plastic receptacle (without even giving the beans a spray).
The touch controls work quite well, and had no issue using them. First touch wakes the unit up and shows you how much charge is left. Second touch starts the grinder. Third touch stops the grinder, unless it runs out of beans first and then it stops on it's own (which is a nice smart feature, so it does not just keep running with no beans).
As a nice touch, it includes a small grey silicon disc which you can put down on the counter to avoid the unit from sliding around on the counter.
I primarily use this for grinding some decaf coffee for use in a universal reusable coffee filter pod for my single serve machine, when I want a coffee later in the day.
Battery life seems to be pretty good too. I've ground enough beans for about 10 coffees so far, and the charge indicator has dropped from 100% to 75%, so this is pretty good. You won't need to plug this in every time you grind some coffee.
Overall, it does a super job in producing a consistent grind, which in my opinion is the second most important part of making a good coffee (after the quality of the beans). The slower speed does not bother me.
This is a very nice grinder. It is by no means a fast grinder, but what it lacks in speed it has in quality.

- Reviewed in Canada on April 17, 2025Verified PurchaseQuiet (when and if you’re able to switch it on!) is the only thing this flaky, minuscule burr grinder has going for it. Suited to smaller quantities of coffee as it only holds a maximum 1/4 cup coffee beans, ` 60gm, which takes 10 minutes to fine grind, ………… again when and if you’re able to switch it on. The barely legible bilingual instruction sheet also has minuscule characters/text! Strongly advise it be avoided.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rundum gute Mühle

5.0 out of 5 stars Handlich, praktisch, bereichert die Küchenausstattung

5.0 out of 5 stars Klein, leise und praktisch
