    The instructions were really good, in proper english, lots of settable parameters, easy to program, unit even includes Modbus RS485 communication channel, an analog output, an analog input, a 10VDC reference, and a terminal block with five programmable digital inputs. I was able to leverage on these to create a remote panel to control speed and stop the VFD; for some reason I was unable to extend the 'START' button to the remote panel- I'm not sure if it's unavailable, or perhaps I'm missing something. 120VAC input makes it easy to play with in the lab.
