    Nous avons acheté une piscine tubulaire de marque Bestway et les tuyaux du système ne s’adaptaient pas. Nous avons dû commander des adaptateurs et il y a un problème avec le filetage d’un d’entre eux qui fait qu’il ne se visse pas complètement à cause du «seal» et il coule. Assurez-vous d’avoir les dimensions exactes de vos tuyaux et d’utiliser du Téflon sur les filets des tuyaux avant de les visser.
    Aussi, les bandelettes de tests qui venaient avec étaient probablement expirées et inefficaces, nous avons dû en commander d’autres.
    Peu cher à l’achat, il génère quand même quelques dépenses inattendues…

    I love this salt chlorine filter! It takes a cloudy pool to crystal clear overnight (after you’ve added salt to the water and let it dissolve). The only complaint I have is the instructions do not match up for the boost mode (which is the main use for it since it’s faster salt to chlorine conversion). The instructions claim that you set the timer then hit boost mode and it will be 8 times whatever the amount of hours you set the timer to. But it doesn’t. The boost mode only has a 00, 36, 48, and 60 hour mode. 00 doesn’t do anything, and I’ve timed it, 36 is 36 hours. Which would be fine IF the filter pump you have stays on all the time, which the Intex pump I got does NOT and there doesn’t seem to be an inexpensive pump with an on only feature it only has up to a 10 or 12 hour timer so it is super annoying to have to go reset the pool timer every 10 hours when the pool needs a good cleaning because the boost mode on this item only has a 36 hour + option.

    this thing would need to run 24 hours a day every day to maybe keep a 4500 gallon pool at the proper chlorine levels, i have just under a 4000 gallon pool and i run this 18 hours a day and my chlorine levels are still low (when i say chlorine it is because thats what this creates from the salt you put in the pool.) not happy with it. had one before that was much better but my dog chewed the cables off so i bought this in a hurry so my pool wouldnt turn green. wouldnt buy again would fork out the extra money for a better one.

    We’ve had an Intex 15x42 pool since 2020, using chlorine. This year we decided to try converting to saltwater chlorination, for the supposed health benefits. Intex customer service assisted me in finding this chlorinator down to the model number. I purchased a used-like new unit for a small discount. I’ve been running it for about 45 days now, 7 hours a day. The unit seems to operate including the timer and boost feature; however, I’m not sure the amount of chlorination is nearly sufficient. It’s supposed to handle up to 4500 gallons and our pool is just under 4000. I’ve had to shock my pool many times already. Almost daily, I am scrubbing the floor to rid the algae. The water is cloudy and as a result the pump filter needs cleaning almost daily or every two days minimum. All of this upkeep is not nearly the amount of work I had to put into the traditional chlorine system. I just shocked the pool again and if that doesn’t help will probably try to increase pH. But at this point I’m not impressed with this saltwater system and will be going back to chlorine next year, and possibly this year.

    Update - I’ve disconnected this system and reverted back to traditional chlorine. 鶹 (My Quick Buy) will not accept returns over 30 days. Intex of course will not offer refunds for items sold by a 3rd party, but based on my story they have determined the unit is fine. It took me at least 30 days to figure out this isn’t going to work so I don’t know what choice I had.

    This is unacceptable. I’m very disappointed in the performance of this product and the lack of customer service or support. They all just want to brush me off.

    So, buy this at your own risk.
