    Works as advertised. Plexi pocket is not huge so thick cords may not curl up enough for the cover to close. This is not a product fault. I used 2 large zip ties to secure the cover in the closed position for my permanent outdoor connection.

    This is a great While-In-Use cover, I have had many issues with the GFI tripping which would lead to our deck lights not switching on, and this completely solved my problem. This comes with multiple plates to cover almost any style of plug or switch you can think of. This installed very easily, and has two holes on the bottom to allow a cord out on each corner. The only issue this may pose if the cover is not extremely deep, and depending on the plug it may be a tight fit bending the power cable to get to the hole, because with the extension cord i'm using it has just enough room to bend, but it does fit (and that's all I care about).

    Overall, great product, but if they made a deeper box I would get more. For my other outlets I will try and find a box with a deeper cover to allow for a little more room for the power cord to bend.

    Has universal adapters plates for any type outlet. plastic cover base plate was resilient enough to torque down the mounting screws without crackling. it is shallow when closed. i had to bend a molded cord severely to close cover and it strained the hinges. Heavy cords are a problem. use a 90 degree three prong plug adapter. Fits orange lawn extension cord ends ok. seals out water great.
