5-DRIVER SPEAKER DESIGN

From the two far-field tweeters, a powerful subwoofer and two unobstructed passive radiators, which are beautifully machine-finished, every element of the design is thoughtfully considered to enhance your audio experience.

  1. COMPACT, POWERFUL, HIGH FREQUENCY DRIVERS

    Durable and lightweight high-frequency drivers deliver balanced highs. These dual 1.5” premium drivers are also designed to provide far-field high-frequency dispersion.
  2. CLEAN, POWERFUL BASS

    The built-in enhanced active 2.5” Neodymium driver pumps out impressive mids and lows. Directing the audio upwards also stabilizes the speaker and provides for a wider sound stage that does not require the listener to be situated in the audio sweet spot.
  3. PASSIVE RADIATORS

    The passive radiators on each side of the speaker offers more bass enhancement and widening the soundstage.

BI-AMPLIFIED DESIGN
iRoar Go utilizes two amplifiers - one dedicated to driving lows and mids, and another is solely dedicated to deliver the high frequencies. This allows the speaker to produce uncompromisingly clear, high definition, and well-balanced music. The top-firing bass and mid-level driver is also laid horizontally, reducing the speaker's center of gravity, thus stabilizing it.

    I give 2 stars for the sound output and the classy look. Unfortunately I CAN NOT RECOMMEND, the USB connections are so loose and can't hold firm into the creative USB port so annoying plus the software for creative is not well explained for the user/consumer to navigate. Here creative lost it, it has many options of software, give straight forward examples for each creative model. list them and make pictorials for one to see and follow, am not an IT guru but really good at basic downloading/installation instructions. Am not enjoying it as much! i wish i could return it but having to pay USA taxes too on arrival was so out of my plan, since it showed it was shipped from USA.

    This is by far and away the BEST Bluetooth / wired speaker I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. It is seriously worth every penny of its cost. I’m a real stickler for audio quality, and this one has it all! I mainly run it with an aux cable run through a dongle DAC, and you would not believe how fantastic it sounds!

    Even when I run it straight from the headphone out port of my laptop, it sounds fantastic! Powerful bass, clean mids, and clear crisp treble. No sibilance. The passive radiators do their job, when there is an explosion or powerful music comes on in a movie, you feel the air move!

    The ap is excellent, it’s mostly only useful for setting the EQ, but it’s great for that! I set it for my custom settings for movies, boosting the bass on top of their cinema setting and then leaving the speaker on the EQ setting, and man! It sounds fantastic!

    I can HIGHLY recommend this speaker, and I have written reviews of many speakers and never have I recommended one as highly as this!

    Awesome little device. Small but loud with loads of bass and I do mean loud! The amount of bass is uncharacteristic for such a small unit but I can vouch for it, its great. I bought this particular model so I can play MP3 music directly from a micro SD card to avoid streaming as I already own all of my own music so I hate the idea of paying to steam stuff I already own. I originally bought it to take it on holiday as it was small, but its so good we use it around the house too. I've had it for about 5 years now and still works fine. I can also confirm that it can play whilst it is plugged in to charge which I think the instructions says it can, but it can. I love it!

    Auf der Suche nach einem Bluetooth-Lautsprecher der gehobenen Klasse habe ich einige probiert, bevor dieser mich überzeugt hat. So ziehe ich meine Vergleiche zu dem UE Boom 2 und UE Megaboom, sowie dem Teufel Bamster pro, welche ich je über Tage getestet habe.

    Haptik/Optik:
    Der iRoar zeigt keine Verarbeitungsmängel und wirkt durchdacht und sauber verarbeitet. Die Box wirkt sogar edel mit den silbernen Akzenten, aber vielleicht ein wenig langweilig. Nun bin ich keine 20 mehr und weiß inzwischen ein edles Understatement zu würdigen. Das Gewicht ist nicht ohne, aber es steckt ja auch eine Menge drin.
    Was tatsächlich etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist sind die Schutzkappen über den Anschlussmöglichkeiten/Kartensteckplatz, da diese keine wirklich Kante zum Öffnen bieten - das kann fummelig sein.

    Der Sound:
    Keine Box die ich getestet habe hat mich so überrascht die der IRoar, der Bass ist beeindruckend und auch das Räumlichkeitsgefühl ist präsent. Durch die App, kann man verschiedenste Soundprofile auswählen die auch merklich einen Unterschied machen. Manche schreiben, dass der Bass nur im Roar-Modus (sowas wie Loudness) zu merken sei, was ich so nicht teile. Es ist aber so, das der Roar-Modus den Bass deutlich anhebt und stärker in den Vordergrund treibt. Es gibt per App u.a. auch noch einen Wide-Modus der einen größeren räumlichen Effekt bringen soll. Was er auch tut, aber auch deutlich das Klangbild ändert - das kann toll klingen, aber auch nach hinten losgehen. Ferner kann man die Box per grafischen Equalizer selbst einstellen.
    Die Lautstärke würde ich als echt laut bezeichnen, aber mir geht es in erster Linie um ein gutes Klangbild und nicht um eine hohe Lautstärke. Ich werde wohl kaum die Box über 50% aufdrehen. Leise kann die Box übrigens ebenfalls sehr gut, das ist für mich wichtig, da ich gerne Hörbücher zum Einschlafen höre. Es gibt im unteren Lautstärkebereich keinerlei Rauschen und mit der Einstellung "warm" auch keine unangenehmen Höhen-Spitzen.

    Was man wissen sollte:
    Leider kann man die Box nur mit beilgelegtem Landegerät laden.
    Die seitlichen Treiber liegen frei und könnten theoretisch beim Transport beschädigt werden (dafür sehen die in Aktion echt gut aus ;-), aber gleichzeitig wirken diese so stabil, dass dies eine Theorie bleibt.

    Viele Anschlussmöglichkeiten, z.B.: Per Klinkenkabel, per USB am PC als externe Soundkarte, Per USB an die PS4, Mikrofoneingang für Karaoke, Speicherkarte zum Abspielen und Aufnehmen.

    Outdoorfähig, da Spritzwasser geschützt

    Fazit:
    Viele Pluspunkte machen den iRoar zum Gewinner: Sound, vielfältige Anschlussmöglichkeiten, recht lange Akkulaufzeit, durchdachtes Design, aktuelle Standards.
    Negativ empfinde ich, dass es nicht möglich ist das Gerät über USB zu laden, aber da das vor dem Kauf bekannt ist kann ich dafür keinen Punkt abziehen.
    Die fummeligen Kappen sind mir keinen Punkt Abzug wert, da für ist das Gerät Spritzwasser geschützt.
    Für mich zur Zeit das beste Gerät in der Preiskategorie bis effektiv 200 Euro.

    Après l'avoir comparé à d'autres enceintes, je constate que le son est beaucoup plus fidèle et authentique. L'enceinte est lourde, ce qui est une qualité. Et on l'entend bien dans les médiums, les aiguës sont suffisante, et les basses ne sont pas boosté en mode par défaut, ce qui me convient pour avoir un son proche de l'enregistrement de la source sonore, mais si l'on souhaite, le mode boost peut être activé. Je n'ai jamais été déçu de la marque Créative.
