INSTALL TIPS
STEP 1
Remove the protective paper.
STEP 2
Put the toner firmly into the new drum unit. If installed correctly, the lock lever on the drum unit will lift automatically.
- Toner Cartridge is NOT INCLUDED
STEP 3
Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit by gently sliding the tab from left to right and back several times. Then make sure you return the tab to its home position. If not, printed pages may have a vertical stripe.
STEP 4
Install the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly into the printer & reset the drum counter. When you replace the drum unit with a new one, you are required to reset the drum counter. Please follow instructions provided with the drum unit to reset the counter.
