ITC-308S is an easy-to-use, safe and reliable dual relay output temperature controller. It can be used as overtemperature protection and automatic temperature control system for various electric appliances such as equipment for home-brew, aquarium, pet breeding, incubation, BBQ, seedling heat mats, oven temperature control, terrestrial heat control, constant temperature cycle of heating pump, culture fermentation, accelerating germination, electric radiator, electric oven, etc.

The Inkbird Temperature Controller is a MUST for aquarium redundancy. Not only does it display accurate temperature at a glance, it actively controls your heating and cooling equipment to maintain a steady temperature. It also has a visual and audio alarm should your water rise or drop outside of the set temperature window. 4/5 Easy to use is because the initial setup is a bit lengthy as it starts the temp setup at ridiculous temps. I had to inch my way from -40oC to 24oC. Highly recommend. Spend a few bucks for a great little device that prevents costly tank crashes.

I installed this on my 150 Gallon reef tank. It works incredibly well. It manages all 5 of my heaters and keeps the temperature perfectly within a degree of accuracy at all times. I got this because of problems in the past with heaters breaking and killing my fish. Now I run multiple small heaters to avoid this issue and control them all centrally. I wouldn't run another reef tank without having a controller and I can recommend this controller above all others that I've tried for its ease of use and the fact that it can also control fans or a chiller for cooling if needed. This shipped to me quickly. It arrived next day and was exactly as advertised.

One of the big failure points for an aquarium is when the heater decides to die on you. By the time you find out there's something wrong it may already be too late for your fish. This was a big concern with my zebra pleco breeding colony. I needed something that could control the temperature and alert me if the temperature ever went out of range. The ITC-308S fit the bill. It was easy to program and set up and after verifying all the temperatures with other devices it's very accurate.

Now I have piece of mind about my animals and I have the added benefit of being able to control the temperature externally without disturbing the tank. This is super helpful for mimicking breeding conditions which include large temperature swings. I can easily set the new temperature on the controller without constantly disturbing the tank by taking out and adjusting the submersible heater.

I would highly recommend this controller for anyone who wants a piece of mind keeping their pets safe and happy.

I bought this for my 300 gallon aquarium and found the price and functionality to be great.
Pros:
Very simple, straight forward, and easy to use.
Setup takes only a few min and doesn't require an app download to manage.
Priced very well
Can control both heating and cooling units

Cons:
If you have two heaters and you want one to come on at a different temperature, you can't. Although there are two plugs, they're set up specifically for heating on one and cooling on the other. I used a plug splitter to add more than one heater, but they both come on and turn off at the same setpoints.
If you're the kind of person who needs information available even on the go, this does not offer that type of connectivity for wifi monitoring.

This device saved 20 of my fish! It has an alarm you can set for a certain range and it'll sound if the temperature goes below that number. We had unplugged the heater itself from the Inkbird while cleaning the tank, forgot to plug it back in, and went to bed. It was winter and the temperature kept falling, and without any way for the device to turn the heater on like it normally would, it woke us up and we found our poor fish on the brink of freezing to death! They were moving very slowly and looked pale, so if it didn't wake us up, we probably wouldn't have gotten to them in time or maybe we wouldn't even have figured out what was wrong right away. I have an Inkbird on all 4 of my tank's heaters. I'm so grateful it saved my little friends. It works great, it's easy to read from a distance, easy to install, and it's a worthy investment
