Purchased these click-top retractable ballpoint pens for general household note-taking and found them to be well-suited for that purpose. All pens were received in excellent condition and in very good working order.
The ballpoint size is somewhat between a fine and a medium point. So far, the ink flows perfectly, without skipping or blobs or smudging. Appreciate that the pens have a comfort grip on the bottom third section of the pen's barrel and that Paper Mate went the extra mile to extend the storage lifespan of the ink by coating the nibs with a protective, red-coloured wax seal (Remember to remove and discarded this wax seal before first use).
If you handwrite frequently or for extended periods, you may find these pens to be a tad too short, too lightweight, unbalanced, and fatiguing. You may also find the metal clip to be a nuisance or uncomfortable. For note-taking of short duration, these pens are perfect! Would definitely buy again. Hopefully, Paper Mate will consider changing the colour combination in these multi-packs to 1 red, 5 blue, and 2 black (Instead of 2 red, 3 blue, and 3 black).
