Injector Rail Assembly Remover Tool
Function:
- Used to remove the direct injection fuel rail at ease. The injector and rail assembly must be removed as straight as possible, and prevent any damage to the injector holes or mounting components of the cylinder head
Tips for use
- The injector and rail assembly must be removed as straight as possible to prevent the chance of damaging an injector bore in the cylinder head, or to the mount assembly.
- EN-49248 handwheels in each mounting position are tightened evenly to unseat all injectors evenly and prevent damage to the injector, cylinder head and rail mounting assembly.

Steps on how to use
Step 1
- Remove the fuel injection fuel dispensing tube sound insulation panel
- Disconnect the electrical harness from the fuel dispensing tube harness connector
- Disconnect the 4 injector electrical connectors
- Remove the fuel distribution tube assembly retaining bolts
Step 2
- Install EN-49248 double-headed bolts (1) to the 2 center fuel distribution tube assembly retaining bolts. Tighten the double-headed bolts to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs. force)
Step 3
- Install EN-49248 on each double-head bolt and engage the hooks to the fuel dispensing tube. Install the nuts (3) to secure the removal tool on the double-headed bolts and tighten until snug
- Use EN-49248 to remove the fuel rail assembly
Function:
- Being used to replace the fuel injector Teflon O Ring Seals.The fuel injector seals tools allow the seals to slide over the injector tips, and as the seals are pushed through the guides and into the grooves, the sizer will compress each seal into its groove and in Ensure dimensions before installation.

Step:
- 1. Install the EN-49245-1 long protection onto the injector nozzle, covering the first recessed area close to the nozzle, and place the new seal (2) on the EN-49245-1 long protection.
- 2. Using the EN-49245-3 push tool, install the seal into the second recessed area (4) of the fuel injector.
- 3. Press the seal with your finger and then re-grade the seal using the EN-49245-4 grader.
- 4. Install the EN-49245-2 short protector onto the injector nozzle. Place the new seal (2) on the EN-49245-2.
- 5. Install the seal into the first recessed area (4) of the injector using the EN-49245-3 push tool.
- 6. Press the seal with your finger and then re-grade the seal using the EK-49245-4 grader.
