My old digital thermometer gave up so i thought of giving these infrared ones a try. Oh boy, are they fast! You get an instant reading of the temperature. There're a couple of other features too like: 1. Turn display red if temp is over a set threshold 2. Option to switch between surfaces and body temperatures (I like to check the temperature of my PC, refrigerator and other devices sometimes 3. Option to mute/unmute sounds. Also, it uses standard 2xAA Batteries so no issues there. Only thing is they could improve their plastic quality and provide a pouch alongside, that would make them equal with other products that sell for same range but have the extra things.
