    I am enjoying this little gadget a lot. I love using it when I’m away from home to basically video call my partner and dog - it’s more fun than a FaceTime because you don’t need a receiver to “pick up” and you can drive it around the house!

    It took a VERY long time to initially pair to the phone and WiFi but once that was done, I’ve had no issues with lag or connectivity.

    Overall camera quality is pretty good, though the fish-eye lens distorts the edges. I believe picture quality is better when your phone is on Wi-Fi, and it gets a bit muddy in motion and over cellular. Sound quality is good enough that my dog fully recognizes my voice.

    The motion is pretty good and surprisingly doesn’t get stuck on rugs or small elevations on the floor. It has tank controls that are easy enough to use.

    The biggest issue is battery - while the auto-recharge function is very cool when it works, it sometimes struggles to find the charging station even when it’s right next to it. Battery life is quite limited (maybe an hour) and the robot continually drains even when it’s asleep. It really should reverse the charging port so you can just drive the robot into it (you have to back into it if you’re trying to manually dock it into its charging station and you can’t see where you’re going when you’re in reverse).

    If it had better battery life, I’d give this five stars for how fun it is to use.
