    The only flaw is the controller LED isn't overly bright when being used in the sun, but a deal breaker.

    So believe it or not I used this when we had a hurricane and used a generator to power the house and used this item to heat the tub so it would not be cold water.
    It takes about 20 minutes to heat.
    If you leave the thermometer out of the water it keeps heating the water. It’s a plus not to stop at 104 degrees. Since the hot water heater heats to 120+~

    El termostato es muy útil; sin embargo, la resistencia es hasta peligrosa, el usarla tal como indican las instrucciones (en cuanto a cantidad de agua, conexión, etc.) no evita que el cable de la resistencia se empiece a calentar peligrosamente con tan solo estar conectado.
    Tuve que decidir mejor que un eléctrico me separara el termostato de la resistencia para poder utilizar el termostato y deseché la resistencia porque es peligrosa.
    Mucho más seguras las resistencias que compras en una ferretería cualquiera.

    Useless product, purchased for use in outdoor tub, I can’t remember what the wattage was when I ordered but received a 2000w unit. Tub is roughly 100 litres, after an hour temperature increased by 2 degrees. Tried heating water (10 litres) in bucket and took around 15 mins to bring water to 60 degrees. Unit is definently not efficient and a complete waste of money.

    If you are lucky and match the timer with the temperature rise needed it works for a while. As the instructions read, will shut off when timer is over or when temperature is reached. DO NOT TRUST THIS TO SHUT OFF. I filled a 5.7 ft3 converted freezer with hot water. It drops 15°F every day. 22 minutes would bring it back to temperature. After a month of daily use with the timer, I relied on the set temp. function. I came home to 158°F water and deformed plastic. That one finally stopped working. The second one worked fine for 3 weeks then over heated and shorted the control box. On my 3rd one. Will recieve it tomorrow. 2000 Watts and temp or time control is limited for product choice. Not UL approved.
