I’m still learning the dos and don’ts of resin in this machine but using clear resin in a non-silicone cup has produced clear resin. All my other projects before this have had micro-bubbles all the way through. I have put coloured resin in and it got sooooo bubbly but it seemed to rise and pop mostly. Spend a bit of time spanking the mold and spritzing with alcohol. It doesn’t have an automatic shutoff so you will have to watch the time. Not really a big deal for me as I just set a 9min timer on my phone The only thing I really don’t like is how difficult it is to get the lid off. I have fibromyalgia so it is difficult to grab things. I definitely like it so far and will update if I start to feel differently

    Love this machine. It is a game changer in getting the bubbles out of your resin. I did however have to leave the resin in a lot longer than the 5 to 8 minutes as on the instructions. I filled the cups only half way which helps. Over filling will cause spillage during de gassing, also do not press release until all bubbles are released. Otherwise you will cause it to bubble up over the cup. To me it is definitely worth the money, to have my projects come out clear with no micro bubbles.

    I did 4 batches of 24oz each time.
    LOSE THE CUPS!!!!! Just find a Tupperware container that fits in there nicely and reuse. I cut the rim off the one that’s in there in the pics. Do NOT start it and walk away!!!!!!! It over flows QUICKLY. Here’s what you need to do:
    Start the machine, when the air bubbles are about 1/4” from the top of the container they are in, hit the release button!!! It will bubble over the tiniest bit but better than a huge mess. When the hissing sound stops, start it up again. Repeat this process 3 times. The fourth time it will look like it wants to over flow but it won’t. Watch the liquid, not the air bubbles that are on top. When you don’t see any more bubbles moving from the liquid to the top. Shut er down. Lid is on there good so do have a good grip on the container and the lid so you don’t wear the epoxy. There may be a few bubbles on the surface, I hit them with a hot air gun before pouring. I put a pic of the guitar so you can see, literally not 1 bubble even at the surface. Very impressive and worth every penny. This was 4 pours total and done over 12 hours so I could continuously watch for bubbles. Not 1 single bubble. Love this thing, just wish it was 5 times the size

    No bubbles rise at all. Been on for 10 min and no Action. Also I think they sent me a used one. It was dirty when I opened it. Now I am using it but I don't think it's doing anything.. my return window is closed as well. This was one expensive piece of junk!
