This does exactly what it says it does and the included controllers are excellent. An NES controller is not included but if they had to leave one controller out im glad it was that instead of the 16bit consoles. Only flaw I found is the Genesis slot is ridiculously tight but functional. Otherwise build quality is good. On a side note i dont reccomend trying to buy Genesis and SNES games from 鶹 for this like I did. Nothing but bad experiences.

It's a very nice looking console well packaged. I'm in Australia so I had to source a 5v plug thingo for the usb power cord, which was easy. I've tested NES, SNES and Sega megadrive games and they seem to work flawlessly but I've only had it for half a day. The included controllers are pretty nice. Quelli cioè che possiedono delle cartucce originali: infatti, Retron 3 HD 3 in 1, permette di utilizzare cartucce originali di NES, Super Nintendo e Megadrive, siano essi PAL (europei) o NTSC (USA e Japan).
Questo tipo di console, per me, NON è indicato a chi vuole fare un regalo per natale a un amico o parente.
Prima di tutto, ripeto, puoi usare cartucce originali o di tipo "everdrive" sia originali che cinesi.
Puoi settare l'uscita video in 4:3 o 16:9.
Puoi scegliere se usare il cavo HDMI (720p) o l'uscita con i classici 3 cavetti RCA (video, audio, audio).
Nel mio caso, uso un tubo catodico perchè aborro l'idea di vedere un gioco retro su un 4K e perche non esiste scanline generator che possa sostituire il magnifico effetto tv originale, quello che dopo qualche ora di gioco ti friggeva le retine tue e dei tuoi amici.
Come sapete, console di questo tipo si dividono in tre grandi categorie, semplificando:
FPGA => costose e molto simili alle originali
SOAC => leggono da cartuccia facendo quello che possono (spesso ci sono problemi audio/glitch grafici)
Emulatori fisici => cloni dei chip originali che emulano il gioco che tirano giù dalla tua cartuccia.
Retron 3 HD 3 in 1 fa parte di questa ultima categoria.
A questo punto parto dall'alto verso il basso dicendo che la console è:
- robusta
- bella
- discreta come dimensioni (25cm x 20cm)
- performante, l'emulazione per me è *OTTIMA*
- ha dei joypad che sono una bomba atomica. Cavo lunghissimo e qualità estrema. Non ho dubbi nel dire che i due pad in dotazione sono meglio degli originali (che sembra una bestemmia lo so). Quello del MD ha 6 tasti più il "mode" per riportarlo a 3. Questa per me non è una cosa banale, perché non poter giocare a GOLDEN AXE 2 su MD originale, giacché GA2 è uno dei giochi non compatibili con un pad 6 tasti è questa si una vera BESTEMMIA.
Retron 3 HD 3 in 1 mi ha dato la possibilità di giocarci, +1 per Hyperkin :)
- NON ha 1 pad per il NES... e allora come ci gioco con le cartucce NES? mah...
- le porte NES e MD sono sui fianchi quindi molto scomode.
- compatibile con cartucce originali, cloni ed Everdrive (quelle dove dentro metti le rom)
- compatibile con SUPER GAME BOY cosi gioco anche con le cartucce gameboy.
Per 100€ va più che bene, che vuoi di più. Ci sta dai. E' chiaro, a 60€ sarebbe stato un AFFARE imperdibile.

ho allegato due foto per mostrare lo stato in cui mi è arrivata la console. Con un oscillatore al quarzo staccato. Quello del SNES. O_O'
E quindi SNES non andava... ma fortunatamente sapevo cosa e come farlo, quindi ho aperto, risaldato e via.
Ma un utente base? un videogiocatore accanito che però non conosce le basi di elettronica?
uhm...
Per questo motivo 3 stelle e non 5. Il prodotto è buono, fa partire tutto e bene. Ma dato quel prezzo vorrei acquistare qualcosa di un livello e affidabilità superiori. Questi sono prodotti particolari, non tutti sanno quello che stanno comprando.
E adesso scusate, vado a giocare, soddisfatto ;)
