    My old Retron from 2009 finally croaked this year, had to quickly replace it with this newer model and so far it works really well, and I have to say it feels a lot sturdier in terms of the plastic and everything than the original. Games works great with no real issue though their colors at times may be just a little bit more saturated than on original hardware (I can directly compared my NES games cus I have an original NES as well) but it's not a big deal and it's a very minor difference. For a clone console and especially one for people on a budget, it's pretty good. Only real downside is the lack of S-video unlike the original model but that's becoming harder to get on newer TVs anyways. Thank you for the great system!

    I bought this as a gift for my 4 boys ages 8 to 2. We ordered some multi game carts for snes and Sega. The Sega game was very tight fitting in the console but works just fine. The snes game had no issues fitting but 1 game we discovered so far won't work for it and I think that's an issue from the game itself and not the console because everything else just works so perfectly. The console came with 1 remote for Sega and snes and since I have 4 boys I bought some extra replacement controllers not from the hyperkin company and that was a HUGE mistake. Not only was I sent the wrong controllers one time but the controllers that came with the system are SO NICE!!! I will be ordering more controllers from hyperkin!!! This was a great investment and my kids love it!!!

    The starters, even though it played games whale, it was slow, when it came to gameplay! I don’t know if it had anything to do with me using my own controllers or what, but that’s very inconvenient for people who don’t have the original controllers, to use on this console! It comes with controllers, they are not reliable, as the authentic ones would be! Play at your own risk!

    I have been looking for an NES, SNES and Genesis combo system after my last one broke. This one is amazing! For starters the packaging was second to none. The ease of hooking it up was great as well.
    If you enjoy retro gaming and want more than one or two systems in one, then this system is second to none.
    The only criticism I have is that it only had 2 controllers ( 1 for SNES and 1 for Genesis) it does have an adaptor to convert the SNES to an NES controller. Wish it had 2 of each, but I still can’t complain.
