Does the job.
Plug and play. Hooked up to 65" Sony A8H. Looks like it upscaled the picture quality, playing Zelda: Twilight Princess on it.. and it plays amazing, I'm very impressed. Not sure if it's the TV that's doing the upscaling, either way, very happy with this purchase.. RECOMMEND.

    I recently upgraded an old Plasma TV that had RCA inputs for the Wii, and my wife still uses it for her daycare kids. Well, as you would expect, the new TV does not have any RCA inputs so I needed a solution for connecting the Wii to the new TV. This not only worked like it should, the picture is excellent! Highly recommend this cable if you have an older Wii system you want to connect to a modern TV

    The output quality is way better compared to most of the Wii2HDMI adapters (no diagonal/jail-cell lines, noise). The caveat is that this cable may not be fully compatible with some 4K smart TVs. Make sure your display supports a 480p HDMI 1.4 signal. In my case, the cable worked perfectly on a gaming monitor that had HDMI 1.4 ports, but had frequent disconnections (handshake issues) on a 2021 Sony Bravia TV with HDMI 2.1 ports (not ideal for action/racing games). I found a workaround by using a Denon AVR connected to the TV that is capable of HDMI switching/passthrough. Connecting the cable to that has worked perfectly without any signal degradation.

    Super simple - Plug it into the back of the Wii and then plug the HDMI cable in. Only issue is it doesn't register with my TV. Wii works fine, tested with original AV cables on an older TV and all was good. For some reason this cable just doesn't work. I tried different TVs, different HDMI ports and nothing. Then when I went to go look for product support, clicking through the buttons just sent me back to the 鶹 home page....

    Hooked it up to my 4K OLED LG smart tv and it works great. Picture and audio quality are good.

    The input delay is very minimal. There's always going to be a degree of that when scaling a 480p input to 4k resolution. Don't expect it to deliver competitive Melee levels of responsiveness, but its perfectly playable. I highly doubt the average player looking to play some old gems would ever notice it.

    You can find better solutions with a crisper image and less input delay, but you get what you pay for, and for $30, im satisfied with the performance of this cable. If youre searching through the deluge of <$30 adapters for your wii, this one does the job well.

    Using this between my Wii and Denon receiver.

    Great picture quality. Ones I've tried in the past had a lot of noise. This one may have the most miniscule amount of noise very occasionally, but for the most part, it was very clean. Viewing on OLED TV.

    Audio is also clean.

    I would have liked a much longer cord, but I used an HDMI coupler and doubled the length with no apparent degradation in signal.

    I can confirm that this works on my RVL-001 Wii and my Wii U on my LG HDTV model 42LN5300. It even displays the Wii U in proper 1080p widescreen and doesn't crop the sides. The Wii U has to be set to display non-HDMI. But it works great if your Wii U HDMI port stops working (like mine did). The image is a little darker and fuzzier than straight up HDMI, but it works if your TV doesn't have component inputs. It also works on my BenQ GW2480 monitor, but I only tested the Wii.

    Lo compré en sustitución de un convertidor de cable de componentes a HDMI que producía una imagen intermitente en una pantalla 4K sin entradas de RCA ni componentes, haciendo obviamente imposible la utilización correcta de una consola Wii.
