I bought this to replace a dogbone controller that was included with my Famicom AV, mushiest d-pad I'd ever used. This is more than an apt replacement, d-pad is far more solid, buttons are satisfying and responsive, cable is long (which i actually didn't really need, the length that is, but it's good to have anyway!) Honestly for the price I don't think you can really do better in the realm of 3rd party controllers.
Also important to note there seems to be a common issue where the dpad becomes unresponsive on the left axis, I haven't personally experienced it but I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen 1 time outta 20, these controllers aren't OEM quality, they're better than dogbones but you aren't getting modern PowerA level "Official 3rd party" quality assurance, if you order one just make sure the box stays intact when you take it out in case you need to send it back.
Overall 5/5, the only thing that could be better is if they could add turbo switches on the back or something but for this price I don't really have room to complain.

Good controller, weak adhesive
I really like how this controller feels! Feels just like an official NES controller without the pointy corners, and the buttons feel as responsive as the real thing, at least to me. Cable length is pretty good too! However, less than a day after it arrived, the stickers that bend over the beveled edge began to lift. This was with only a few minutes of play in room temperature, so I believe the adhesive used for them might be defective or low quality. They may not all have this defect, but it's still worth keeping in mind when you buy!
