    I purchased two of these for my kids thinking they'd be a bit safer for them as they are all over the place in the house taping their sticks and I'm forever missing my kitchen scissors.

    While these are safer and made by one of the brands they love... they (both my kids) have tried and abandoned these as they complain they just don't work well at their single job (cutting hockey tape). I'll throw a pair in the first aid kit and the other pair... I don't even know. I'll stash them in their hockey tape bag I guess but I don't think my kitchen scissors are safe for the time being.
