How to Get a Meeting with Anyone, Updated Edition: The Untapped Selling Power of Contact Marketing Kindle Edition
鶹
You know how to sell—that's your job, after all—but getting CEOs and VIPs to call you back is the tricky part. You're in luck: That impossible-to-reach person isn't so impossible to reach after all.
Hall-of-Fame-nominated marketer and Wall Street Journal cartoonist Stu Heinecke discovered that he could get past traditional gatekeepers to reach those elusive executives by thinking outside the box and using personalized approaches he calls ""Contact Campaigns."" Including presidents, a prime minister, celebrities, countless CEOs, and even the Danish model who became his wife, Heinecke found that getting meetings with previously unreachable people was easier than ever. Now he shares his tactics and tips in this essential guide for anyone who needs to make contact.
Featuring expanded content and brand new chapters, this updated edition of How to Get a Meeting with Anyone explains how you can use your own creative Contact Campaigns to get those critical conversations. He divulges methods he's developed after years of experience and from studying the secrets of others who've had similar breakthrough results—results that other marketers considered impossible, with response rates as high as 100 percent. Through real-life success stories, Heinecke lays out 20 categories of Contact Campaigns that anyone can research and execute. Tactics range from running a contact letter as a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal to unorthodox uses of the phone, social media, email, and snail mail to using personalized cartoons to make connections. He also packs in plenty of tips on how to determine your targets, develop pitches, and gain allies in your contact's circle of influence.
How to Get a Meeting with Anyone provides you with a new toolkit you can put to work right away so you can make the connections that are essential to your success."

About the author

Stu Heinecke is a bestselling business author, a hall of fame-nominated marketer and one of The Wall Street Journal cartoonists. In How to Get a Meeting with Anyone (2-2016), he introduced the world to “Contact Marketing,” which uses micro-focused campaigns to connect with critically-important accounts and prospects. Using the twenty categories of contact campaigns in the book, readers have gone on to produce explosive scaling of careers, businesses and lives. In Even More Outrageous Ways to Get a Meeting with Anyone (10-2019), Heinecke adds more techniques, tips and strategies, more than sixty illustrated case studies, an updated Contact Marketing model that sets a new baseline for response—at 100%—and introduces “Pocket Campaigns” as a replacement for business cards.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Strategic Framework That Actually Works
Verified PurchaseStu Heinecke's updated "How to Get a Meeting with Anyone" delivers something rare - actionable strategies that produce real results.
What sets this book apart is Heinecke's "Contact Campaigns" approach. Instead of generic networking advice, he provides 20 distinct categories of personalized outreach that transform seemingly impossible connections into straightforward opportunities.
The updated version expands on his original concepts with fresh case studies and modern applications. I particularly appreciated his insights on using social media platforms strategically rather than randomly - a distinction that makes all the difference in today's noisy digital landscape.
Heinecke's background as both a Wall Street Journal cartoonist and Hall-of-Fame-nominated marketer gives him a unique perspective on breaking through communication barriers. His combination of creative thinking with strategic execution creates a powerful framework anyone can implement.
I've already started applying several of his Contact Campaign methods with surprisingly positive results. The response rates he claims (some as high as 100%) seemed ambitious until I tested them myself.
If you're tired of being ignored by decision-makers and ready for a systematic approach to making meaningful connections, this book delivers exactly what you need. It's not just about getting meetings - it's about creating strategic opportunities that drive real business results.
Highly recommended for anyone serious about elevating their outreach game beyond the ordinary.

5.0 out of 5 stars So good, I bought it twice!
Verified PurchaseI loved Stu's first book, How To Get A Meeting With Anyone. I've loved all his books. When I heard he was releasing an updated/new version of the original, I immediately signed up for the pre-sale. When it came to release time, I bought it again. Business development and salespeople must present themselves differently and more authentically than ever before. Stu shares countless stories for inspiration, and he uses it! Great book. You should pick one up....or two.
