I've got a Keurig K400, you know, a Keurig 2.0 with the annoying feature of checking for a genuine Keurig pod before it'll work. I was looking at getting a freedom clip, but this thing appears to be good enough for unlocking most of the features. These reusable carafe pods have an edge that force you to orient them one way in the machine's pod cradle and to push down on the cradle's bottom spring holder to seat them properly.

I was annoyed by only having the option of getting 4-6 ounces of hot water for a cup of tea, but with one of these pods (empty), I can get between 4-14 ounces of hot water (between 2 different brew settings). Yeah, I hadn't tried a carafe pod before and was surprised by all of the brew settings that came up on the menu. The pod will hold a little over 4 tbsps of coffee and, with a Keurig carafe, it will dispense up to 4-5 cups. The packaging includes a card with a tiny URL that directs you to the company's website to a page that includes a couple of YouTube videos that show you how to defeat the genuine Keurig pod detector (by using the cut-off top of a Keurig pod) and the carafe detector (by inserting a magnet in the bottom carafe/drip tray port) on the machine .

I'm still fiddling around with this thing, but so far it's been excellent. It's a cheaper solution than disposable pods and I'd definitely recommend it.

It's a transparent white square on the inside of the door that comes down on the K-Cup. Used a damp J-cloth and shoved it up near the sensor. It was hard to reach, but once it was clean it worked great! We made a pot of 2-3 cup and it made 2 nice cups of coffee.
I don't know right now about anything more then 2-3 cups. We'll try later.

The spine with the hole at the top is needed in order for the handle of the head of the Keurig machine to close properly. Simple round lid filters will stop the front silver pin to go down to close.
