About the authors
Veronica Smith is a lover of all things horror. Whether she’s reading, writing, or watching; that’s what you will find her doing when she isn’t at her day job. She treats every day as if it was Halloween and hasn’t yet been fired for decorating her office as if it’s a haunted house. She’s been writing since 2014, when her first short story was published, and works on several projects simultaneously. She lives in Katy with her husband of over thirty years.

Kevin J. Kennedy is a horror author, editor, and anthologist. He is also the owner of KJK Publishing and he runs the bestselling 'The Horror Collection' series.’ He is the author of Halloween Land, and The Clown.
He lives in the heart of Scotland with his beautiful wife, three cats, Carlito, Ariel and Luna, and a Pomchi called Orko. He can be found on Facebook if you want to chat with him.
Mark Towse is an English award-winning horror writer living in Australia. He would sell his soul to the devil or anyone buying if it meant he could write full-time. Alas, he left it very late to begin this journey, penning his first story since primary school at the ripe old age of forty-five. Since then, he's been published in over two hundred journals and anthologies, had his work made into full theatrical audio productions, and has penned fifteen novellas, including Nana, Gone to the Dogs, 3:33, and Crows. Chasing The Dragon, his debut novel from Eerie River Publishing, was released in March 2024.
Viggy Parr Hampton, MPH is a horror author, epidemiologist, and host of the podcast “Horror Humor Hunger." She is a graduate of Georgetown University and Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. She is also a member of the DreadPop Magazine team, producing the popular YouTube segment “Tag Team Tales of Terror,” where she challenges fellow horror authors to create a progressive story with her.
Whenever she's not writing, she's playing pickleball, baking, or going on long walks with her German Shepherd/Poodle mix, Tater Tot.
Ben lives in the Cincinnati, OH area with his family and dogs, where he is currently working on more stories which may or may not ever see the light of day. He does not enjoy writing about himself, especially in the third person like this. Find him online at www.benyoungstories.com
As an emerging author, Ju Collins (they/them) is just another victim of the Goosebumps to horror literature fanatic pipeline. As a person, Ju is really more like a figment of your imagination. An entanglement of social constructs, if you will, or potentially several possums in a trenchcoat (not yet verified).
Currently living on a rock in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean with their wife, daughter and two French bulldogs, Ju aspires to write both fiction and non-fiction (all of it horrific, because truly, nothing is scarier than real life). Some of their work can be found in anthologies such as; The Horror Collection: Morte Edition, Trans Rites: An Anthology of Genderfucked Horror, and We Bite Back: A Queer Charity Anthology. They were also featured as a co-editor in Propagate: Fruits From the Garden; an anthology of prose created to be an evocative ode to Mother Earth and our reliant, yet tumultuous, relationship with Her.
Joel Austin is a full-time chef, father, and husband. He loves writing scary stories and getting lost in a good book. Joel also enjoys going on hikes with his wife, daughter, and their black lab, Loki.
