Buy at your own risk. This was working fine for 6 months and then one day I hear sparking, look at my outlet and there is a small fire around one of the prongs which had melted and was burning when I pulled it out of the wall socket. If I wasn’t standing by it, there was a real risk of fire. See photos. Maybe I had a defective unit but I do not recommend anyone buy this due to a real risk of fire. If you already own it, I recommend you stop using it or use with a lot of caution and vigilance.

    I use this to charge my Bluetti power station via my regular gas generator. It outperforms a more expensive adapter from Blue Hive by giving me roughly 45-48W, which is almost twice the output of the other brand. My only complaint is that the Bluetti DC plug won't fit snugly into the outlet. I have to use a large elastic to keep the plug firmly inserted.

    Using the included AC to USB charger my NOCO GB150 jump starter charges extremely slowly. It charges much faster using the 12v DC input. So I purchased this converter and it charges the NOCO in less than half the time.

    The cord is not thin and flimsy like some of the other AC/DC converters that I saw. The cord is long enough to do the job but not get in the way or be a hassle to store.

    It does not get hot when charging. Even when the battery is fully drained or it is left overnight.

    It fits into the storage compartment lid of the NOCO GB150 carry case.

    We used this in the hotel room to connect the car tire inflator to inflate a twin size 10” air mattress. It worked well for inflating it, but it does take time-about 30-45 minutes to inflate because we felt the converter overheating. No big deal, so every so often we’d give it a little break, then continue inflating. (Tip, don't have other devices on that are on the same breaker-like an air conditioner-while inflating.)
