    I have not used one of these since I bought the trimmer which was over ten years ago. One of these came with the machine. I decided to try one again and now know why I never purchased another. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SPOOL. It is a nightmare waiting to haunt you. You have to manually re-load the line being very careful not to allow it to twist while loading it. No matter how hard you try, it always gets twisted during use, then you have to stop what your doing, take the spool off the housing and redo the line. If this is the best the Honda engineers can come up with, they need to get out of the business. ALWAYS BUY AN AUTO LOADER!!! Happy trimming!

    Fit perfect. Was worried as my trimmer has some years on it. This screwed right one (reverse thread) in about 5 seconds. The string stopped coming out so I did have to remove the top and pull the string out and rewind it as it was caught/pinched inside and wouldn't release. But after that quick 2-3 minutes, been working fine since.
