    This is a great show for kids to brush up on history in an comedic and entertaining way. It does a good job at showing various events in the world that are also covered in school. If you’ve lived in Southern California from the 1960s to early 2000s, you’ll love these a little more as there’s a recurring cartoon sketch of Loud Kiddington which copies “Cal Worthington” commercials. Every house in Southern California with a tv knew who he was. It got our family looking up Cal Worthington commercials on YouTube. Those did not disappoint and we actually ended up watching quite a few news broadcasts featuring Cal Worthington’s history. Even if you didn’t grow up seeing his commercials everyday, it’s still worth a glance into his history and the Loud Kiddington sketches will make more sense.

    Histeria! was the follow up to the Animaniacs, which used the production quality of Animaniacs and merged it solely with US and World History in an easily digestible way for young kids and enjoyable for older kids and adults.

    A good deal of effort went into this, both for entertainment and truthfulness (not to be mistaken for truthiness). It is a good way to get your younger child's feet wet into history.
