7 mg/ml extract of dried ivy leaves (Hedera helix L.) Extraction ratio of 5-7.5:1 (equivalent to 35–52.5 mg of dried ivy leaves). Purified water, sorbitol, flavour, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate, citric acid.

Directions

Directions of use: How To Take Helixia Cough Prospan for children: The 100 mL bottle contains its own measuring cup, ensuring you always take the recommended dose. Shake the bottle well each time before use. Age Recommended Dose (use table from bottle label): Infants under 1 year old, weighing 3.4 kg (7.5 lbs) or more. Consult a healthcare professional before use or if use exceeds 7 days. Take 2.5 mL (½ tsp.), twice daily for at least 1 week. Children 1 to 5 years old, weighing 12 kg (26.5 lbs) or more / Take 2.5 mL (½ tsp.), 3 times daily for at least 1 week. Consult a healthcare professional if use exceeds 14 days. Children 6 to 11 years old / Take 5 mL (1 tsp.), 3 times daily for at least 1 week. Consult a healthcare professional if use exceeds 4 weeks. Administer Helixia Cough Prospan for children for at least 1 week or longer depending on the nature and severity of your child’s condition. It is recommended to continue administering for 2-3 days after your child’s symptoms have disappeared. How To Store: Store at room temperature. Can be used for up to 3 months after first opening the bottle.

My older kiddo suffer frequent cough, that usually turns into croup. I cherish every cold that stays with cough/cold only! I discovered Helixia a couple of winters ago when she had cough that just would NOT go away. She ended up having chest xrays to rule out pneumonia, and other than that the diagnosis was always the same - virus. It was going on for months, it was frustrating because there really wasn't much I could do to help her. Thankfully at one point I discovered Helixia. It's a natural medicine, so don't expect total miracles, but it does help to soothe child's throat and loosen the mucus. After all this suffering, I was desperate to try something, anything - and Helixia actually did help! Didn't cure the cough, but it did help with little easier nights for both my child and myself and for that I am forever grateful, and since that time, I have been relying on Helixia with most coughs. I've tried other natural remedies/syrups but this is the only one that seems to make visible difference.
