Adored the front cover and the side! It was difficult to capture with my camera how the hedgehogs shine like gold, but I managed to! As you move the book around, you see different golden parts of the hedgehogs shimmering. The hedgehogs are raised very slightly out of the cover. Beautiful!!
Paper: The paper is thick for sure. It is kind of bland inside. All of the pages are the same that you see in my pic.
Back inside: It has a little accordion fold out section for stashing little notes or something. It isn't sturdy at all. The glue is terrible on it. It came apart even though I treated it with glove fingers. I had to reglue.
Packaging: It came inside a clear package with a fold up sticky seal so that it can slide out of the bottom.
My child has a friend that adores hedgehogs and snails. She will go nuts for this! Kids love journals too!
Rebuy: I would definitely rebuy. Thrilled with my purchase.
Side: I have the plastic cover on it for my picture, so the line that you see in the picture isn't actually on the journal.
