    As a diabetic, I avoid lectin-laden foods such as peanuts and this nut butter is one of the best alternatives I have tried, and that include cashew butter, almond butter, and others. I recommend it for anyone avoiding peanuts for any reason. In fact, I think I like it a little better than regular peanut butter. One caveat, I had to remove an outer label in order to check the ingredients and it is astonishing - palm oil, and soy oil, so anyone with problems with either ingredient should probably avoid. Otherwise, this gets a thumbs up from me and my dog.

    I was surprised when small jars arrived. This is the 500 g jar for the normal price of the 1 kg jar. WOWBUTTER is a great product from small company but this is not the most economical place to purchase it. I will be more careful in the future.

    If you’re allergic to nuts I feel so much more sorry for you. We bought this for our kids to have peanut free peanut butter for school (since all schools are nut free). We all tried it and none of us could stomach it. The aftertaste was what made us feel ill. Perhaps if you grew up with this and didn’t know anything different it would be ok. But if you’ve had regular peanut butter, this stuff will be hard to swallow.

    I'm allergic to peanuts, but missed having peanut butter so I decided to try WowButter.
    First of all, it's considerably more expensive than peanut butter. I can get Jif PB at a grocery store for 17 cents per ounce where the WowButter costs 54 cents per ounce. I decided it was worth a try to find something similar to PB that I can eat.
    I was warned that the texture of WowButter is very thick and dry. I tasted it right out of the jar and it definitely doesn't taste "just like peanut butter" as some other reviewers have said. I didn't expect it to because it's not made from peanuts. The taste right out of the jar was a little bland, dry and definitely hard to spread.
    I decided to put a couple of tablespoons of the WowButter in a bowl and I added just a few drops of extra light olive oil and a tiny pinch of salt. When I mixed it up, it became smooth and spreadable. Just a tiny bit of salt made all the difference in the taste and a tiny bit of oil improved the texture immensely.
    While I still miss peanut butter, this is a very satisfactory alternative that I consider worth the price difference and that I will continue to enjoy.

    I have a severe peanut (all nuts) allergy. I have tried all forms of peanut butter substitutes. I can't stand their taste. Sunflower butter taste too close to a seed flavor. But this......WOW BUTTER is the best. It is made from soybeans. It taste so similar to peanut butter. It's delicious!
    I made peanut butter cookies, pie, brownies and all sort of things with it. It is so good. I wish I could walk in the store and buy it. They use this flavor at most schools in California to replace their peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
