I purchased these for my hedgehog and am really impressed. I wasn't sure exactly what brands to buy when I first got him and chose this one mostly at random and am so happy I did.
They're about 4-5 inches in diameter (my hand is a size medium women's) in size and are currently running in an Exo Terra model PT2348. They've been on constantly (with some brief moments off when the enclosure gets too hot) for about 1.5 months and I had to change one of the bulbs yesterday (for specifics, the bulbs have been on since Oct 26 and one burnt out Dec 18, the other is still running).
There's 2 bulbs heating a 198 L bin near a window very well, though with colder temperatures coming I might need to set up a third lamp. They're set up on a metal top directly on top of the bin so I'm not sure how they would heat if suspended above the enclosure but I imagine it would still be great.
I'll definitely be sticking with these bulbs for my little spike boy!
They're just heat bulbs so no brightness.
Their functionality is great and they're a great value for your money!
