In 2013, Dmitry Sheleg decided to radically change his life by trying to become a writer. And already in the fall of 2014, his first novel Nelud (Not of This World) was released by one of the country’s leading sci fi & fantasy publishing houses, Alpha Kniga. The resulting 7-book series received an avalanche of positive reviews from both readers and literary critics.

In 2019, Dmitry started a new novel: The Heir of an Ancient Bloodline, which later became the first book in his new series Living Ice. It was met with a lot of praise and received bestselling rankings in online book stores. Inspired by the first book’s success, Dmitry wrote eight more titles, completing the Living Ice series in 2023.

Currently the author lives and works in Minsk, Belarus. He’s married and is busy raising a wonderful daughter.

According to his readers, Dmitry excels in writing exciting stories which grab you from the very first pages. His works are characterized by fresh and original storylines, heroic characters, masterful worldbuilding and excellent combat scenes.

    Ivan has completed his Military Cadetship, foiled a PR smear campaign against him, fought in a Duel, volunteered for Front Line service, fought Slavers, been captured by the enemy, and escaped back to his home territory.
    Good read, but some confusion over his age at the beginning of the story, 15, 16, or 18. Also, a few English grammatical errors - a good proofread would fix. Otherwise, a good continuation of the story.

    Ivan is alive! And growing up right before our eyes! He’s saved a bunch of kids, graduated from the academy and the vultures of circling. He’s survived having his father trying to kill him and now he has enemies on an international scale. From other aristocrats to women trying to baby trap him. He needs to keep his wits about him if he wants to survive long. Book 5 was a tollercoaster and I can’t wait for book 6

    I just wish these Russian authors out for a buck, no problem with that btw , would stop writing half novels. Y'all don't have to do that. Write quality novels and we will keep buying them.

    An ok book. Didn't do very much (past the first chapters) to advance the storyline. It was a decent read, but if this was book 1, I wouldn't buy book 2.

    Also, it's a bit short for the price. Read the entire thing in 3 hours and 12 minutes.
