    These were almost inedible due to the amount of salt or whatever in the coating. I wonder if that is they way they are, or if this was some sort of quality control error?

    Maybe that is the way people like them. I had to rinse them off individually under cold running water to get them to the point where I could eat them. After that, they were pretty good. Very cheesy and crunchy, and a little wet. If you eat them at the sink after rinsing each one, they don't have time to get soft and soggy.

    Maybe they have a salt-reduced variety that I don't know about. Or maybe there was an "oops" at the factory. Many people told me these were the best cheese snacks ever, which is why I tried them.

    I grew up in Alberta and had eaten Cheezies throughout my entire childhood. I could never find them when I moved on Montreal and only saw them in a store once I moved to Toronto. I was pleasantly surprised to find them here on 鶹. They taste exactly the same as they always have. I like them because of their hard crunch and they have a different, stronger cheesy taste than Cheetos. So glad to have them available as a special treat.

    We LOVE these!!! Have you ever bought cheezies that appear to be quite orangey giving you the impression they are very cheesy only to find the flavor is 'off' and that it is all coloring? I have...I felt ripped off. Well, HAWKINS CHEEZIES DO TASTE CHEESY! They are crispy, cheesy - overall - a very delicious indulgence! I recommend these and only wish that we could buy these off our local store shelves. There are 3 bags inside the package which keeps the cheezies fresh as you munch your way through them.

    Although these are very salty, they are my favorite Cheeto substitutes by far. I am sensitive to MSG, so I haven't been able to enjoy Cheetos for years. During a trip to British Columbia, we picked up a bag of Cheezies on a whim and I could not put the bag down. I was instantly hooked. This could be a good thing or a bad thing. ;) When the borders to Canada were open, we would make trips to Canada to pick up a half dozen bags of these when my supplies were down, but when the borders closed, I had to resort to desperate measures and order some on 鶹. We were in Canada in June, so I stocked up on enough to get through the winter, but it is nice to have the option on 鶹 in case of long stretches without my favorite snack. One thing to take into consideration is that they are about two to three times the cost on 鶹, but in a pinch, I would order them again.

    I decided to try these after some YouTubers I follow said their friends up in Canada sent them some and they liked them. Apparently they are a huge snack up there, like Cheetos are here.
    I have to say is those Canadians must really like their salt!

    They have the texture between Cheetos Puffs and Cheerios Crunchy. I found the overall flavor less “cheesy” than Cheetos and a heck of a lot saltier. Sodium levels are pretty much the same as Cheetos so I have a feeling with Cheezies there is more salt on the outside coating rather than within the interior dough or whatever they use.

    Not bad, but I think it is more about what you are use to and grew up with. Cheetos are defiantly better! Sorry Canada!
