Directions

Apply liberally 15-30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, or every 2 hours. Ensure all exposed skin is covered, paying special attention to easily missed spots.

    This sunscreen goes on easily, spreads and absorbs well without greasy residue and best of all it works extremely well. I especially like the nice light glow that it leaves on my skin (not at all sparkly, just a sheer glow).

    I just returned from a vacation in Mexico where I used this lotion daily. One generous application each day was enough to keep my fair skin from burning, even on days that I chose to paddleboard in the ocean or float along our hotel’s lazy river (it's not waterproof but is water-resistant). After 12 days of fun in the sun I realized I didn’t have much tan to show for it, so I decided to go without sunscreen for just an hour; this was a mistake that I paid for by burning my back and legs. Thankfully we also brought Hawaiian Tropic’s After Sun lotion with us, so I applied it liberally and was okay by the next day (I bought After Sun from 鶹 here: Hawaiian Tropic Lime Coolada After Sun Moisturizer with Shea & Cocoa Butter, 480mL

    In any case, I definitely recommend Sheer Touch sunscreen – it’s an effective product that applies nicely, smells pleasantly coconutty, is non-greasy and works reliably well.

    I’m fair skinned and always need loads of sunscreen! This seemed to work well enough, I try to keep covered up when it’s really sunny 🌞 to be safe, sunscreen can’t protect any place that is missed and it does wear off as well. It has a nice smell to it and it isn’t greasy. I’ve been pleased that it hasn’t seemed to stain my clothes.
    It does allow some tanning through tho, so it is either wearing out or it isn’t quite strong enough for how severe the UV is on those days. I haven’t burned when I’ve been wearing it.
    I recommend a different sunscreen for your face unless you’re putting it on a little kid or you’re really athletic and not very concerned about skin care. Generally, it’s best to use something that is designed for your face and skin type unless it’s an emergency. This stuff probably would cause various issues depending on your type of skin. It’s definitely a body cream!
