The Haute42 T16 in Black has completely changed my perspective on leverless all-button arcade controllers. It looks and feels amazing! Its premium frosted black acrylic design is sleek and built to last, making it a fantastic addition to any gaming setup. Setup was effortless—my PC recognized it immediately, and the included USB-A to USB-C cable worked perfectly (though it might be short for some setups).

One of the standout features is the OLED screen, which displays real-time input for verifying button accuracy. The Kailh crystal low-profile switches provide smooth, precise feedback without excessive noise, reminiscent of a quality mechanical keyboard. Multiple input modes (Switch, PS4, Xinput, Dinput, and keyboard) and SOCD cleaning ensure compatibility and prevent input conflicts, making it highly versatile for various platforms. I am purchasing an aftermarket wireless dongle and it should be able to connect to my PS5 which I'm excited about!

The customizable RGB lighting is both practical and stylish, helping with finger positioning during intense matches and adding a personal touch to your setup. It also gives you a ton of RGD LED Settings. All the instructions for the settings are in the handy instructions booklet. The 16-button ergonomic layout ensures comfort even during extended play. Features like the hot-swappable functionality allow you to easily replace switches without soldering, adding even more value.

If you’re serious about improving your fighting game skills, this controller offers exceptional build quality, responsiveness, and customization. This is the second Haute42 arcade controller I've tried. Both I've tried are super-solid and work very well for fighting games like Street Fighter. I love the layout on this one and everything just works well. The display indicating what button you're pressing is a nice addition.

The only thing I ended up liking a bit less about this one is the case is very plain, just solid black with no labels for the buttons or anything. The other one I own has labels on the buttons and a transparent case, which I preferred. However, some might like this style better.

It's also nice you can customize the colors of the buttons easily, so that could make up for the lack of labels. Anyway, once you get used to it you won't need to look at the buttons really.
