Pros:
- Quality is quite good, and prices are not too much above the cheapest / plainest sets (e.g. Ikea).
- Good variety of pieces, with lots of detail (e.g. the people, switching light, bridge, crane, etc are all great additions - well made).
Cons:
- Not really a negative, more an observation, but some pieces are pretty hard for a 3-year old. Specifically, the two items that go in the people's hands are pretty hard to get in. Also, building inclined train track to the bridge on top of tunnel / elevated platforms is a bit of an advanced skill. But it's good to have something to learn / move toward... 3 is definitely the youngest age for this set.
