Very impressed with quality of product and ease of installation. Used to replace existing handle and deadbolt. Aesthetically impressive with it’s clean lines and simplicity. Found Schlage’s video on their website very helpful but detail is lacking in some areas. Therefore, use written instructions to complement video to show how some parts adjust to existing drill holes to enhance effectiveness. Key: ensure measurements are accurate to avoid drilling new holes.
I do (did) not have any experience with such things, but with watching the video a couple of times prior to attempting replacement and stopping and starting video throughout installation (slow learner) and observations of an astute friend (built in adjustments within the unit such as length of deadbolt) it was a rewarding undertaking. If I can do it, you most certainly can!
