I purchased this so that I could have a way to play games and earn Retroachievement points on the go. It works wonderfully!! I am so happy with it!
You can tailor it to your needs and desires. The Internet connection is generally pretty good and stable, but in the farthest area of my house it struggles with a consistent Internet connection there. Netplay works great. The feel of the shell is similar to the feel of the semi-transparent GBA consoles. The feel of the buttons being glossy can be sort of distracting, but it is very minor and it is also very easy to change out buttons if you want to. The system can handle being run at 2x speed for most systems. The system can also play video, music, and read PDF files which is a very neat feature!
It comes in a set as shown with everything that you would need.
Make sure that you buy an additional SD card (the one it comes with can be prone to memory failure over time) that is a brand name and that you format it with Onion OS for the most optimal experience. : )
Also, I have heard that these can be delicate if dropped, so make sure you carry it in the case that it comes with when you travel around with it. I have not had any trouble with mine so far and it is probably the best gift I have bought myself in a very long time!
