    I did not expect this to be as powerful or customizable as it is.... It's crazy how much it can do.

    I have all of my favorite games from childhood on it, as well as Celeste and Stardew Valley which I ported over from my PC copies.
    I use it almost every day, perfect travel companion and great nostalgia hit.

    It would not power up at all when I first got it , which was disheartening. I read that the RG 35XX H may be very picky about what power brick is used at what wattages or voltages and that using one that isn't rated at what the handheld is spec'd for, might kill it. It wouldn't charge with my 鶹 Fire HD 10 brick, my Razer Phone 2 Brick, my no name brick or via my PC or PS5. I tried multiple times on many different days. SO, I ordered ANOTHER power brick spec'd specifically it's exact power draw range from 鶹 that arrived VERY FAST and that charging brick didn't work either.

    Then I heard that the RG 35XX H may not turn on at all without the micro SD card in it. I seen the one that came with mine was a no name micro SD card and I hear that they fail A LOT. So my last hope was to wait for my 64Gb micro SD card that I ordered along side it. That micro SD card will not arrive for nearly 2 more months possibly so I got a family member to pick me up one from a physical store. I finally got a replacement and formatted the micro SD card to FAT32 and updated to the latest firmware and VOILA, it actually turned on.

    I am so happy, but at the same time disappointed as the official Anbernic site / support basically just said contact 鶹. lol. I'm not sure if 鶹 would have been able to troubleshoot any of this. I had to google a lot of forums. Official, Reddit, Facebook and watch about a dozen YouTube videos to gather all the possible solutions to my problem(s). It was such a hassle to even get it up and running and I've had it for nearly a month at this point.

    Overall, I can't be too angry as the buttons and handheld do feel great now that it is working. I do love the feel of the buttons and the screen looks good too. Had it worked from the jump, I would have gave the handheld a 5 star since it does feel and work wonderfully, but it was a pain in the ass to get it working. Most people would have probably rated it a 1-3 with what I went through, I'm just glad I didn't have to send it back. I can't wait to tinker with it some more. A pain to set up, but love it now that it's actually functioning.

    Tout fonctionne bien avec un OS personnalisé et une bonne microsd (facile à faire, nécessite un PC) mais j'ai noté un défaut : Manque de puissance... C'est mal dans ce cas là, parce qu'il y à un émulateur PSP et Nintendo 64, alors que ces jeux peinent à tourner correctement...

    At this price, nobody should be expecting a performance beast. Do your research and think about you want before you buy one of these.

    That being said, Anbernic have made a name for themselves for very good reason; their devices do as they say on the tin, the RG35XX H included.

    Plastic body construction feels fit for the price tag, and the stock OS is a little lacklustre but these things are so customizable it’s comical. I purchase one for myself and one for my partner, she loves hers running the stock OS, meanwhile I’ve now tried several others on mine and finally settled on one I like. From Gameboy to N64, NES and even 3DS, the performance of this thing is very impressive for the price.

    As I said, do your research and make sure these are capable of playing the games you’re interested in before you pull the trigger, but as long as you’re willing to ride the learning curve, you’ll love one of these devices!
