Quest Users Hear me!!
I got 2 of these with 3.0 vive trackers. Here is some advice as someone who has a Quest 3. These are plug and play however, they will both be set on the same channel by default in Steam VR. These makes them compete instead of work in tandem.
Plug both of them into the wall and with a tracker on(which they can both see) open steam VR on your PC, they should both pop up. Using a needle, go to the back of one of them and put it into the tiny hole until you hear a click. This will change the channel of the BS.
Now if you hover over the BS in steamVR one should say "Channel 1" and the other "Channel 2"
Normally you can do this directly in steam VR with an Index, but thats not what we're working with:(((
Aside from the set up, these are great, they can be set up at any angle for wider range, and they're really small so they can honestly fit on a shelf without being an eyesore.

Perfect tracking.
All I can say is this I had the 1.0 base stations but I have a decent amount of stuff in my play space and i tend to loose tracking a lot for some reason. I ended up picking these up which was 334$ but on steam they charge 224$ with warranty brand new. 334 for same day delivery is a grab for me. The tracking on these just one is amazing the 1.0 tend to have alot of hip tracking problems. With the 2.0”s say goodbye to the hip tracking problems. I recently bought two more 2.0”s from steam a the tracking is brilliant.

- Reviewed in Canada on September 13, 2021Verified PurchaseI waited 9 months for the Valve Index Base Station to show up in stock on steam. After 9 months I gave up and paid the $70 mark up. ($270)
My poor poor wallet.
As said by others, there is no mounting bracket included. Nothing to lift it off its surface. Be ready to spend more money if you don't want to just "bookshelf" the thing.
The cord is just over 8 feet long. (Valve one is 15 feet)
The power box thing is a pretty huge downgrade. Its longer and generally less compact then the Valve counterpart, but also doesn't sport the "quick release" features of the Valve one.
Ultimately you are paying A LOT more for a somewhat inferior cable/mounting situation. Which blows.
But now I got 3 points of tracking for full body in VRchat ha ha.... ha... What have I done

- Reviewed in Canada on March 18, 2022Verified PurchaseHad 2 base stations and noticed (especially while dropping to my knees) I'd get some glitches. I have a large play area with the base stations about 10 feet away - so added a third in a triangle. Glitches gone and now works perfectly.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 17, 2021Verified PurchaseWorks great, you need 2 for optimal tracking, unfortunately my vr headset a vive cosmos elite hit the deck again after 1 year of owning it, took care of its cord well this time and I have had issues prior, so I don’t recommend vive headsets until they get there sh together. but the base station works great, though one of them has a rattle in it, seems like the housing got loose, thats my only issue.
