Product Description
Why you need a LED pool light?

What advantages you would get from PN01?
- High Efficiency. Due to the high energy conversion ratio. 35 W LED light is equal to 300 W incandescent bulb.
- Low Cost. Only 1/9 power consumption. Reducing the frequency of replacement, it has ten times the life of incandescent lamps.
- Full Set of Replacements. You don't need to buy extra compatible plug, power supply, or electric cord for this unit. If you already have a wet niche, it would need nothing else.
- Perfect After-sales Service. HQUA will repair or replace any product that failed during two years' normal operation.
- High Quality LEDs. These LEDs not only have a good performance on pure cool white, but also with excellent light distribution.
4 Key Points to Keep Your Safety.
Power Supply HLG-40H-15A, UL Listed.
- Class 2 Power supply, IP67 suit for outdoor environment. Weatherproof, Even could sink into underwater 3.3 ft for 30 minutes.
- Design for 40W unit, but we only set up for 35W. Leaving sufficient design margin.
- IP 67 Waterproof Connector included for hard wire and connection.
Electric Cord,100 Ft, UL listed.
- 2*18 AWG SJOW 300V Cord. It could handle 4 Amperes, but we only run 3 amps on it. Temperature range from 105 F to 220 F.
12V DC Output for LEDs' Array.
- The max voltage is 12V DC on the light side. Which is stricter than the standard of 25V DC that been using in the most of landscape lighting, also as known as SELV (safety extra-low voltage).
- Even if there is a electric leakage happened, you wouldn't get any hurt for that.
Unique Waterproof Gel
- The special material was used to cover the LEDs and the bottom of the light. Durable design will ensure both safety and light transmittance.
- Protects the LEDs away from the water. And the human boday away from the electricity. But light will still go through the gel with only 1-3% lost.
What kind of niche this light would fit for?
Stainless Steel Niche for Concrete Pool
Plastic Niche for Concrete Pool
Plastic Niche for Vinyl/Fiberglass Pool
- These niches above are not included in the package of PN01 light. It is not provided. We only describe what kind of niche/housing that PN01 would fit for since so many niches in the market.
We try to list some of the common niches that PN01 could fit for:
Pentair 45361000, 620004, 60028300, 79200255, 79206700, 78210200-78210600, 78232400, 78232500, 79211600.
Hayward DuraNiche SP060XX series.
Sta-Rite 05161, 05163.
Jacuzzi 9413 series
Jandy PLNICLRG, SSNICLRG, PLNICVFLRG
- We might miss some niches that been used in the market. Your niches/housings might not be just like the same with these units. But the main structure is the same. They would both have pilot holes in the upward side, and a little notch at the downward side.
- If you cannot assure this light would fit for your niche, please feel free to ask and get more help with that. Some pics would help a lot.

A few notices for the installation:
- The correct connection is : 110V-120V AC to GFCI to Transformer (HLG-40H-15A) to 100' electric cord through the conduit to the LED light
- The LED light needs a wet niche to be installed in. We don't provide a niche/housing for the concrete/vinyl/fiberglass pool. If you need purchase a niche/housing for this product. Please consider the brands and part numbers listed above.
- Follow all the requirements about the dimensions above to get a better performance and avoid potential damage.
- Leave enough electric cords behind the light in the niche is very important to change the replacements and maintain this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very bright, OK after 3 months of use
Verified PurchaseI replaced an old but working Pentair 120V 300W incandescent light. It was easy to remove the old, cut the cord, tape the end of the new cord to the old cord, and pull the wire through the conduit. Then just mount light on pool bracket. NOTE: Mine did not include the screw necessary to mount the light. I had to order one from 鶹. The supplied water proof transformer was also easy. Plugged that into a water resistant plug near where my light J-Box was. Just be aware this is DC, so get the polarity correct.
I would estimate the light is about 1.5X brighter than my old one. So about equivalent of a 500W incandescent. The color is more white and striking, so that may also make me think it is brighter. But it really makes the pool stand out. Almost too bright? Not sure. Looks great though.
Next to see is how long the brightness lasts. Several people have reported it dims over time. I will report back if I notice any dimming. One thing to be very careful of is to NEVER turn on the light unless it is under water. The bulb depends on water for cooling. You will end up burning it out or making it dimmer after even 10 minutes of use without water. OK to do a quick test, but no more.

5.0 out of 5 stars .installed October 2021 and working great
Verified PurchaseThe lights are awesome.. brilliant light going through the pool. Had a few failures on these lights but James, manufacturers and myself really made a great effort to correct the problems and they achieved good success in producing a great pool light. We've had them running for about 3 months now and are working perfectly..Many people have complimented on the beauty of the pool in the evening in comparison to the 500 watt incandescent lighting we had prior. 35 watts is a great energy saver and even better as we have two in our pool.. thanks again for a great seller for a product sold on 鶹....just another follow up.. still working great installed in October of 2021..its almost October of 2022 and the lights are as brilliant as they were installed a year ago.. Thanks again to the company working with me in resolving old issues.. can't say enough about the product and the company..so happy in Hawaii..
Just checking back in for the pool lights installed in 2021... just still working great with no issues.. really appreciate the tech support a number of years back that worked with me on previous issues.. James and company went way above normal replies to actually correcting previously known faults. So amazed and happy to note that all turned out well.. savings are great and product is providing us a great feature in our pool..update.. October 22, 2024... lights are still working great without issues.. super happy after working with James in 2021 to figure out some negative issues but continued to work with him to improve the product and couldn't be happier.. Thanks for a great company and product..and service..Tony

1.0 out of 5 stars So far so good. Nice light, nice tone. Failing after 11 months
Verified PurchaseEdit: after 11 months the light is now far dimmer. No sure if it is still under warranty
Got tired of my old screw in LED unit burning out. While it was far brighter (75w vs 35w) than this unit, it did not last.
So I scoured the internet on how to fish new pool cable. I poured dishwashing fluid with water down the junction box 3/4" PVC, cut the other end, attached this cable, and of course they separated in the middle somewhere. About a 30' run. I then had to get a fishing cable - link below, and used that to finally inch the new cable. My son was at the top and fed it the cable 1 inch at a time.
Hooked it up to a app controlled outlet - link below, and this way I can use Alexa and Smarterthings to control it.
While the light is not as bright as the other LED light, it does light up the pool, approximately 35' long, OK. I edited the attached photos top match the real look of the pool. I am not sure how long this will last, and I am not good that any replacement would require a new cable run, but so far it is good.

2.0 out of 5 stars Faulty Transformer.
Verified PurchaseWe were in the process of selling our home and needed to replace the pool light because it was 40 years old. Anyway, after the pool technician completed the job, he was unable to turn the light on and after hiring a electrician. They both identified that the transformer was faulty and we had to make. Some last minute changes to get the light to work. Unfortunately those parts are not available in the pool store.
