- Reviewed in Canada on November 19, 2024Verified PurchaseSuper easy to use, super easy to configure with the phone (takes 10 minutes to understand the app). As long as you can organize all your outputs correctly and remember them, it's a very easy pedal to use. The build quality is great. You don't need to plug it in the socket if using it with the USB cable.
- Reviewed in Canada on January 18, 2025Verified PurchaseI bought this to use with my Headrush MX-5. Configuration was relatively simple despite having little experience with midi stuff. The controller seems well built and as important, looks good! If there was a 6 or 8 switch version, I would buy that as 4 has proven to be a little less than what I need. However, overall this was a good purchase.
- Reviewed in Canada on April 11, 2022Verified PurchaseI use this controller to switch Neural DSP Archetype presets on a Mac Mini M1.
My first grief with the unit was about connectivity. My Mac flat out refused to recognise it, yet the Neural DSP bluetooth midi actually connected to it immediately. Downloading the app on my Mac was a failure as well, since it's just not meant to work on the computer. Please remember - the app will only work on either android or iOS platform (i.e. your phone or tablet).
Second point -instead of specifying the CC# or PC# they just wrote "Data1" on the app. It was another 30 minutes before I got that.
Third point -I didn't get the hotone press for an expression pedal, opting for an M-audio one instead. It still doesn't work. However, it might be a problem with my midi programming.
Now, the good things -it's light, small, and if you managed to set it right -works perfectly well. Currently I use 2 separate banks to switch 8 presets, and that's like barely 1% of all the the crazy stuff you can do with some ingenuity and deeper dives into midi.
The bottom line -I knew nothing about midi before I got into all this, and none of this is exactly 'noob' friendly. The controller is worth the money and will be a big help, but the wasted half a day on my "crash course" in midi comes down to the lack of proper support by the company and information available online at this point. For that, I'll take off 1 star.
- Reviewed in Canada on January 29, 2024Verified PurchaseI was looking for a smaller foot controller than what you get from Marshall's 16" controller and this fit the bill. It was very easy and straightforward to get it to work via midi cable with my DSL40CR. I use it to switch between the 4 channels. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller controller for their pedal board.

- Reviewed in Canada on February 25, 2024Verified PurchaseI added a 2-button external switch and it's a solid unit. The phone app to program it is a bit clunky, but once it's set up, it's solid and reliable. The switches are fairly close together, and I've often hit 2 switches at once, which changes the bank. In a live setting, it throws you off.

1.0 out of 5 stars Unstable - Read if you plan to use as bluetooth guitar switch
Verified PurchaseHad huge expectations in this one. I'm currently downsizing full amp/pedals to apps as Tonebridge and Amplitube. My idea was to attach this as a simulated footswitch to change presets in real time... let me down big time. First it will only connect through its app (for some reason device itself will not detect it) because of this the the ampero disconnects quite often to the point is not usable. It looks nice and sturdy, seems to have quite a big chunk of functionalities but in my case it failed big time. If you are connecting using usb or midi give it a try, else stay away from it.
I purchased a Boss FS-1-WL simultaneously as that one can do start/stop for song, work as a keyboard etc... sadly the huge Boss price is there for a reason, that device is a tank, connected right away, all configs nice and crisp, been running flawless the last 3 days.
BTW I tested this in 5 devices, updated firmware, factory reset, plug and unplug, nothing worked.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent contrôle midi.

5.0 out of 5 stars Muy verdsátil
