I was worried a wall mount meant for modern TVs wouldn't be able to take the weight, but this mount feels sturdy enough. It's made of decently thick metal that doesn't seem strained under the weight of the plasma at all. The paint, fit, and finish on the mount is excellent too, the latch system to keep the TV secured to the rest of the mount is a nice touch, and it even came with a generous assortment of hardware to get it attached to the wall. I am pleasantly surprised at how good this mount is - great value!
