Fonctionne super bien, j'ai acheter le nessésaire pour souder au tig et j'ai rien a dire. Les points négatif, les cables on seulement 5 pieds et j'ai cassé la poigner pour souder a rod car elle est tomber par terre. Il me l'on remplacer sans hesiter. Pour la fiabilité a suivre.

    For around a hundred bucks, this little welder is AMAZING. ONLY thought/complaint I’d have, would be that it doesn’t seem to do TIG (as advertised!).
    Also, I’d probably opt for the bigger welder. All in all, EXTREMELY user friendly & ready to go in minutes! Let’s see what the duty cycle & lifespan is though! Time will tell…

    I’ve always wanted to learn to weld, so I was excited to try this Hitbox product. With a budget welder in this price range I wasn’t expecting a lot in terms of build quality, but I was extremely impressed as soon as I opened the box. I’m sure a professional would be able to point out a few flaws, but everything from the cables to the unit itself feels impressively solid. It’s definitely a very compact unit, but it doesn’t feel like they skimped on anything when they designed it. I actually quite like the smaller size because it makes this highly portable.

    The instruction booklet is very well done, and provides basic information for newbies like me. I think it would still be a good idea to watch some YouTube videos before you fire it up, but this offers a nice crash course in the basics. I also appreciate that they included a schematic diagram so that you can see how it’s assembled and wired.

    The display is clear and easy to read, and I like the high visibility white LEDs. The control knob is simple and responsive, allowing you to set the desired amperage with ease. One thing I would mention is that it’s probably best to use this on a circuit that doesn’t have a lot of draw from other devices. I initially planned to set it up in our garage, but that circuit already has two chest freezers on it, so I chose to unplug them before going ahead. It might be fine without doing that, but I wanted to err on the side of caution.

    There are five 6010 rods included, which is great for beginners who likely won’t have any to start out with. There’s no protective clothing, gloves, or face/eye shielding, however, so you’ll have to purchase that separately.

    At $119.99 I think this is a great value. It isn’t a toy, it’s a genuine piece of equipment that can be used for a variety of projects around the home. I’m very pleased with this welder and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

    I have yet to try one of these little inverter style stick welders, considering the size and how convenient it would be around the house, I thought it would be a good idea to give it a try and save on the space.

    The machine is not very big at all, maybe the size of a sport/utility battery for an ATV, so it is really nice on space and portable. It has a all metal casing and digital display, you can see everything very clearly and there is one knob that digitally changes all the function with the exception of one button to switch to TIG weld. The setup is super simple, the two cables that has the negative and positive clamps use a simple notch system to push in and turn and the cables are secured. The cables seem to be made of good quality, they are not stiff and are flexible, this makes it easy to maneuver.

    The system as some good functionality, you can choose from a few options that make things a little more safe and you can mess with things like the hot-start and force, which I didn't know much about, so I had to google it, usually only dealt with amps. When it came to using the machine I was very impressed with the amount of power it will put out, this thing will have no problem doing any job I would like to do. The box included some 2mm rods, but I believe you can double that size. I think this is great for the home owner or someone doing mobile repairs, I would not do anything that would require running it for hours on end as the duty cycle is not setup for that, however anything around the house, this will be working perfectly!

    The booklet was very informative regarding the circuitry and welding tips etc. However when it comes to looking up the hot start and force options, there was no information offered on how maybe it should be adjusted.

    Overall, I am really surprised on how well this welder actually operates. It is compact, good quality and the totally worth the money. Would recommend! 👍👍
