Use these high-quality cables to connect your PlayStation 2 or PlayStation 3 console to the YPbPr component video inputs on your TV or other video equipment. These cables are properly engineered and constructed to deliver the best analog video & audio out of your PS2 or PS3 console. The fully shielded design eliminates audio and video crosstalk, while the 75Ω (75 ohm) impedance effectively transmits the full video detail even at 1080p resolutions.

***WARNING*** for PlayStation 2 consoles only:
Certain software (i.e. most PlayStation 1 games and a handful of PlayStation 2 games) requires your TV or monitor to support “240p” (NTSC/60Hz regions) and/or “288p” (PAL/50Hz regions) over its YPbPr input(s) in order to use this product in those scenarios. If this a concern for you, then please test your equipment using HD Retrovision's 240p Compatibility Test prior to purchasing.

    I was hesitant to buy these because of the price. At time of purchase, this had 4.8 out of 5 stars so I thought "Is it really worth it? Can a cable be that good?".. the answer is YES! These cables are that good. I've bought the quick adapter that plugs into the USB port but found it heavy and the picture was blurred with lines. Not cool. These cables have brought nice full color, great audio, and have made everything look a little less chunky. I'm waiting for them to restock these so I can buy a second set. HD Retrovision rocks!!!

    Only way to play a ps2 now. Going side my side from this cable to the regular red white and yellow it's a night and day difference. Honestly was very surprised how much it improves picture quality. I think it may be because modern tvs cause screen tearing and distortion with the old equipment. Bottom line if you want to do some retro gaming with your ps2 this or an original Sony cable (which is hard to come by for a reasonable price especially here in Canada) is the way to go

    I bought these from another vendor but can confirm that they're the best damn thing to ever happen to my PS2. Even just stock without any upscaling it looks 1000x better on a modern HDTV playing games in standard-def, and removes a lot of the gross ghosting/smearing effects from games like Echo Night: Beyond or Grand Theft Auto III. My PS2 is hacked and can output up to 1080p and on the titles that support this it looks absolutely perfect, without a hint of tearing, and everything down to 480p looks much improved. There is not even a hint of visual noise, the colors are vibrant, and it just looks perfect. Now your old games can look the way you remember them looking.

    These are an absolute no-brainer if you still have a PS2 kicking around and like to play it. They're well-made, fairly priced and are (as far as I know) the absolute peak of consumer-level AV equipment with this application in mind. I'm honestly considering buying another one just in case the ones I have now fail or get stolen, because I never want to use anything else ever again.

    The product works good at my brothers house on his tv and ps2 slim but my ps2 phat model 35001 doesn’t work on any of my tv’s. The picture is pink and aqua blue. It is not the cables it is the ps2 model. I have tried two other adapter, uploaded type products and get the same results pink and aqua colored screen. One tv is a 4k one is a hdmi led tv the other is a lcd tv, another 58” 4k and the last one is an hdmi led tv also but smaller. All the same now I got a ps2 slim that works well with the same tvs. So my conclusion is the model of my ps2 doesn’t work well with this on my tvs. Maybe on another tv it might work but 5 TVs it doesn’t work. My model 35001 ps2 phat just doesn’t work with modern TVs.
